I think that as proposed (whistle blown after a 10 second count following a tie-up), coaches would be up in arms because it costs a team a possession that ultimately could be the difference in a game. However, I think the AP system might work better if the count was more like 15 or 20 seconds. At this length, it would be a more legitimate &quot;tie-up&quot; and coaches might be less frustrated with having to forfeit a possession simply because the tie-up seems tedious and really slows down momentum and the entire game.]]></description>
