"Digging the virtual tour through SA. Back in the day, before the store's employees were Lax-savy, kids in my town would take the price tags off the fiddle sticks and put them on the
real ones. Oh the memories."

I remember hearing about kids doing this too. Oh tiny laxers what are we going to do with you?

I worked at that Sports Authority for 4 years. During my time there I really pushed them to get more gear and about the time I left the gear started to roll in. I remember when they only had no gear, then 5 sticks and a bin full of balls, to the improvement it is now. Its not perfect, but it is a decent selection for youth and high school kids.
