All so the sword helmet is a rip from an old SA helmet they wore until Lawson’s 2nd year. (Granted SA ripped it off of the Scottish Claymores.)

St. Andrews didn’t cut lax, the school is moving from the NCAA to the NAIA. They will still field a varsity program it will just compete in the MCLA until enough NAIA schools sponsor it to have a separate championship. They are expected to join the SELC 2nd Division.

Well the team knew about the sport going D2 since we were the ones who pushed it to happen. Our coach talked with the president of the college on a daily basis to see where the team stood on going NCAA. It’s the fact that not one blog has said anything about our club team and what we have accomplished. I am 100% for growing the game but it’s nice to get some recognition once in a while.

The exact same scenario happened here at Marquette University. They athletic department didn’t even take the time to inform us ahead of time that the sport was going D1. And they haven’t even met with us once since then. Poor display of tact being displayed both MOC and Marquette it seems…It’s sad.

I am one of 3 captains of the MOC club lacrosse team and we’re thrilled about how we got the team to go NCAA but we are extremely discouraged with how Mount Olive College is going about announcing the start of the team. We have put blood, sweat, and tears into this team for two years now and we don’t receive any recognition? I think MOC needs to get they’re stuff straight.
