Tony Seaman - Former Towson head coach and a Balitmore lacrosse Hall of Famer who resigned this week after an enormously successful career with the Tigers. Seaman has laid foundations for several prominent college programs including Johns Hopkins, Penn and Towson. With over 250 wins to his name and nearly 20 Division 1 tournament appearances, Seaman deserves to be recognized for his collective performance over many years. With his resignation this week I think it only right that he be nominated.

If there was one person to nominate from the whole team, I would nominate our goalie Stephen Charlebois. Yes, our attackmen and middies combined for almost 40 points over the course of the GCLA championship weekend.... BUT less then 9 got by Stephen in three games, with two of those games being back to back. AND in the Championship game he even felt the wrath of Ismael @damightymescan Sanchez.. who was on his own team!

I go with RIT's team performance. Going into a tournament undefeated with a schedule like the one they played is impressive (Cortland, Stevens, Nazareth twice, Ithica twice) is one milestone, but the other goes to their 14 goal victory over Nazareth (an NCAA at large team) is a statement. Lots of questions were raised early on and RIT answered them pretty concretely for the top spot in the tournament. Both their coaches and their players should be Adrenaline Performance of the Week

I am nominating Kevin Kaminski from Delaware. While he is not the team's leading scorer, the senior midfielder stepped up in the CAA tournament, scoring 2 goals in the semifinals to help defeat Hofstra as well as 3 more goals in the finals against UMass to secure a spot in the NCAA tournament.

A Chalk Nomination, for sure, but anytime that a player leads his team to victory in a league championship game, I think that deserves a nomination for the Adrenaline Performance of the Week.
Robert Joseph Montgomery Pannell (as 412 calls him) dropped 1 goal and 5 assists to lead all scorers in the Ivy League Championship against Yale, which the Big Red of Cornell won 11-7. Yes, he only dropped one goal, and a couple teammates of his had 3 goals, but he dropped 5 assists! He saw that he was being "shut down" and decided to still lead the team to victory by feeding. This is why he is my choice for the POW, because he has been able to consistently drop dimes when needed. According to Cornell's stats, he has 37g and 45a, both team leading stats! I'm excited to see what he does in the tournament.

My vote goes to Peter Lawrence, head coach of Hartford. He has taken a program that in the past 6 years had 2 season of no wins and had never won more than 4 and is taking them into the NCAA tournament. Oh yeah, and the Hawks have their top 7 scorers returning so look for the Hawks to only improve in 2012.
