I’ve always wanted to cut my long pole down but never did because I thought it was illegal and thought my coach would be very unhappy. But I’m graduated from high school so I finally decided to do it after reading the last post on this topic. I cut off 7 inches and I absolutely love it. Ground balls are incredibly easier and passing is a lot more accurate. I like to body up and run with who ever I’m defending and the shorter pole helps me and my game.
