RIT Beats Cortland Using Hidden Ball Trick

When a Final Four game goes to overtime, most teams would focus on generating a quality look using a set up play, or a comfortable offensive rotation. RIT, on the other hand, used the hidden ball trick to knock off Cortland, and make their way to the D3 title game.

Pretty nifty! If you were surprised by this play, then you clearly don’t know RIT, D3 lacrosse, and you weren’t watching the game. Earlier in the contest, RIT’s goalie dodged from X and registered an assists. I don’t know why I can’t find that online as well… but Payton Danko did!

Here is a little added RIT coverage against Tufts last week.

Yup, the Tigers are legit.

Their game against Stevenson on Sunday, in Philly, for the D3 title? It will be pure magic.

One thing is for certain already though… D3 is getting a brand new champion!
