It’s time for another fantastic dive into lacrosse from years past: Show LAS Your Old School is back! Last week we had a photo of a really interesting old school traditional string job, and two weeks ago we had the Brine Lacrosse Guide Almanac, so today we’re hitting the books again!
Cortland makes the cover!
David Weinberger sent in a ton of awesome photos of the 1976 Official Collegiate – Scholastic Lacrosse Guide and the shots from the Guide definitely deliver! And some of the names included in this treasure trove of lacrosse evidence? Well, they’re just too good to pass up! We’re talking lacrosse legends here people!!!!!
Frank Urso was a BEAST!
A pre-internet blog on Maryland.
Wow. That’s a collection of names! Urso, Roger Tuck, Mike Farrell (Brian Farrell’s dad), Billy Gould, Bob DeSimone, Feed Cook, Doug Radebaugh AND Jeff Long (the current and longtime Head Coach at Ithaca)… all in one game? Unreal.
Some of the top college coaches from 1975.
The list of All-Americans in 1975 was VERY impressive.
And did you catch the HM AA from Bowling Green, Mike Wilcox? They need a D1 team again!
What a superb caption!
Old School Johns Hopkins vs WAC? Cool.
Ok, I THOUGHT I had cool hair.
How many of these names do YOU recognize? Hopefully a couple at least!
