Growing up on the East Coast, I did not think I would have found the talent and competition that I found after transferring to Whittier in the late 90s. I am privileged to have worn the Poets jersey. We have the opportunity to reclaim the glory days of Locker and the 90s and reestablish Whittier as a dominant force in Division III lacrosse. Thank you for showcasing our program.

Cal kid in the mid 90s, Whittier was THE team out here. Coach Locker really knew what he was doing bringing in all those Canadian kids. I remember watching Brad Downey light up the scoreboard on multiple occasions. Talk about a great player! During those days, Whittier may has well have been Syracuse to us. It was our great hope here in CA. Tere were only a handful of teams here, and no NCAA exposure to say the least. Whittier was our shot at the big time. Also, my old high school coach, Peter Pallad is a whittier alumnist. Keep it going Whittier, bring us back a national championship and earn California the respect that that we’ve been striving for for decades
