The women’s lacrosse team at Drew University had the once in a lifetime opportunity to be part of the Bruno Mars (and Red Hot Chili Peppers) Super Bowl halftime show last weekend. The team was chosen from an applicant pool along with students from other schools local to MetLife Stadium, where the NFL’s season finale was held.

As you can tell from the first photo, the girls from Drew were nearly front row at the halftime show concert. By most accounts, Bruno Mars played an incredible show, and I was happily surprised by his performance. That must have been an amazing experience! Way to represent at the Super Bowl for the lacrosse world, Drew Women’s Lacrosse!
