Stay in Shape over the Holidays

Forum Friday

Welcome to Forum Friday! Everyday there are great conversations taking place in the LAS CommunityIf you haven’t signed up yet, make sure you do! And while you’re at it, you might as well watch this silly video update we created too. We hope it provides you with an easy way to connect with other lacrosse fans all over the world.

The holiday season is in full effect, and with it comes relaxing, good food, and time with family. It can be tough to stay in shape during this time of year, but it’s always important to keep training, especially with lacrosse season starting right after the holidays. How do you stay in shape over the holidays? That’s what this week’s poster wants to know!

What do you do in the winter to stay in shape and to keep the stick skills sharp?

I know that my winter regiment involves going on runs, bike rides, doing some body weight workouts every day, and hitting the wall a ton. But I also incorporate family and friends into my training because that’s what the holidays are all about! From playing wall ball with my dog (it’s more like fetch but with multiple balls), to going on bike rides with friends, training over the holidays is the most fun training of the year.

If you have your own winter regiment, share it with our poster in the original post!
