Week number two of Stick Trick Saturday is upon us. This week I was in Coeur D’Alane, Idaho on vacation, but that won’t stop me from fooling around with a lacrosse stick. Plus there’s a new Matt Gibson video out. How is that not exciting?
This week’s trick will force you to have soft hands when catching the ball on the sidewall of the stick, and stick control when bouncing the ball off of the shaft. Practice this one in your back yard or outside somewhere, because I actually put a hole in my wall when I first tried this trick. (Sorry, Mom. Seriously, I’m sorry.)
Practice it, master it, add to it, and I will see you all next week!
To take things up a notch, I’m also going to show you the best of the best when it comes to stick skills, in a BRAND NEW Matt Gibson stick trick video. The video comes to us from Kevin Rowen and UCLA, and it’s from their Summer Camp, where Gibby was showing kids some of the dirtiest tricks in the book:
Whaaaaaaaat? Yup, he’s ridiculous. It gives us all something to shoot for.
