CityLax Southampton Shootout Video Highlights

This was the sixth year for the CityLax Southampton Shootout, which is a one day charity tournament organized to benefit CityLax. CityLax spreads, promotes, and supports the game of lacrosse in New York City public schools.

2014 College Lacrosse All Traditional Team

After each year of NCAA Lacrosse rolls to a stop, we go through and find all the D1 players we can, who use traditionally strung lacrosse sticks. It can be a regular six or eight diamond pocket, a pita pocket, or something crazier… as long as it uses leather and string, it’s eligible!

2014 NLL Playoffs: First-round matchups set for this Saturday

With the completion of the 2014 National Lacrosse League regular season, the NLL Playoffs are set to begin this weekend on Saturday, May 3 with two first-round single-elimination postseason matchups. The Buffalo Bandits visit the Toronto Rock at Air Canada Centre for the NLL East Division Semifinal at 7 p.m. ET while the Calgary Roughnecks host the Colorado Mammoth at Scotiabank Saddledome for the West Division Semifinal at 9 p.m. ET.

2014 Ales Hrebesky Memorial Super Post

The 2014 Ales Hrebesky Memorial was my third straight, and it surpassed all expectations. By all accounts, it was the best Memorial ever, and after last year’s 20th anniversary tournament, that is certainly saying something.

First 2014 Tewaaraton Watch List Announced

The first Tewaaraton Watch List has been announced for 2014 by the Tewaaraton Foundation. The event was held at the Union Club in New York City last night, and members from across the lacrosse community attended the event. Long early-season lists were released, but these lists are far from final, as additional players will be named on March 25th, and April 10th.

This past weekend at the US Lacrosse Convention I was able to connect with lacrosse players, coaches, fans, parents, vendors, officials, and more. While we all talked about different things, a common theme was 2014, and how it would play out. Now that I’m rested up and my brain has cleared, I’m going to list out five great tips on how to this season and year the best ever.

Well, we brought in the new year and said good bye to the year last and now it is time to focus on the upcoming season of lacrosse!! Many major events are taking place such as the 2014 FIL World Lacrosse Championships, the NCAA season and of course, the Turkey Lacrosse Open 2014(TLO14). Mark the dates- September 1st through September 7th, 2014.
