2018 Scotland Lacrosse – 1 on 1 with Brian Silcott
By virtue of their 6th place finish in 2014, the 2018 Scotland Lacrosse national team qualified for the vaunted Blue Division in Israel. They will be playing the US, Canada, the Iroquois, Australia, and England in this division, and it’s going to be some very exciting lacrosse!
Update – Denver 2014: Iroquois In, Germany Out?
The Iroquois were voted back into the Blue Division for the 2014 World Championships in Denver, but now it looks like Germany may be getting knocked out of the top division to make room for the Nationals. The matter is up for a vote this month by the FIL member nations.
Iroquois Could Re-Join FIL Blue Division
Early reports indicate that the vote went the Iroquois’ way, even with the phrasing of the issue, and that Bylaw 11.1, which says future group placements are dictated by the last World Games final standings, was thrown out.
