How Do You Go From First To Worst?
Both the Chesapeake Bayhawks and Charlotte Hounds experienced first to worst seasons this Summer in Major League Lacrosse. Did everyone else in the league just get that much better? Did Chesapeake and Charlotte get that much worse? Or is something else going on? Is it possible that the gap in parity was so slim this year that a seemingly wacky season was actually the norm?

Boston and New York both entered Friday night’s contest with 2-2 records, and this was the first NY – Boston game of the year. On paper, this game promised to be tight and competitive, and in reality, it proved to be just that. The Lizards pulled out a hard-fought 11-10 win at home to jump above .500, and the Cannons fell to 2-3.
