Major League Lacrosse has seemingly gone away from using the grippy, neon orange balls that they have used in the past. This caused quite a stir on Twitter, especially from the Chesapeake Bayhawk’s head coach Dave Cottle. At first the rumor was that grippy balls picked up too much dirt, making them hard to see on TV. When the discussion turned to the color of the balls being the issue, the best tweet came in the form of Trevor Tierney appealing to Connor Martin.

By now you probably know that Devon Wills has become the first female player on a Major League Lacrosse roster. While she wasn’t picked up in the Supplemental Draft as some may have hoped, the NY Lizards claimed the two-time FIL Women’s World Cup gold medalist out of the Player Pool. While she still has to prove herself to make it from the training camp roster to the game roster, she has the support of many in the lacrosse community, including Connor Martin.
Con Bro Chill, the band, has some pretty catchy songs. Regardless of how you feel about Connor Martin, you can’t deny that fact. And neither could Mountain Dew, who featured the CBC song, “We Should Hang Out,” in one of their advertisements!
