Loyola travelled to Annapolis to take on the Navy Midshipmen on Saturday, and the Hounds emerged with a hard tough 7-6 Patriot League win, but it took two overtime periods to decide the winner. Both keepers saw some serious heat, and we’re rewarding them in GIF format for their excellent efforts.

Loyola takes down Lafayette 21-4, the Hounds are undefeated in Patriot League play, Justin Ward had 8 points, Joe Fletcher scored his first career goal, and we got some great college lacrosse game photos from Craig Chase. Plus a Fletcher goal GIF!
Video of great college games should never go unnoticed. The CLVE pulls it all together in one place. Now you get to watch the highlights and important stuff without sifting through Buick Lacrosse ads. That’s no fun for anyone. Plenty of great D1 and D3 college lacrosse video for everyone!
While some teams put their players in a couple different helmet models (Duke uses Brine, old Warrior, and new Warrior helmets) that all look the same, the Loyola Hounds take a different approach. Every wears the exact same helmet, but when it comes to gloves… forget about it. Wear whatever you want!
Craig Chase took in Loyola’s dismantling of Duke from Ridley Athletic Complex and sent over these fantastic game photos! We’ve got a couple great shots, and a GIF of a big and violent hit.
Shortly after the MLL collegiate draft wrapped up, Connor Wilson tossed an interesting suggestion my way, one you pretty much never hear from website editor: Wait. That’s right, instead of posting a wrap-up piece the following day, he wanted me to take some time, check out each team’s picks in both drafts, add in their […]
The NCAA D1 season is now well underway, and it’s only February. Instead of previewing these last few teams, we’ll talk about their 2014 seasons so far, assuming they’ve played games… We narrow down the alphabetical list with the Virginia Cavaliers, located in Charlottesville, VA. The Cavs are 3-0 right now, and each of their […]
Nikko Pontrello scored his third goal of the game only 19 seconds into OT to win the game for Loyola on an unassisted low dodge from behind. 12-11 win for Loyola in OT. We’ve got a game winning lacrosse GIF!
It’s only scrimmage, so this GIF doesn’t really count, but we’re going with it anyway. Loyola’s Jeff Chase lets loose a shot against UNC and finds the back of the net. Welcome to GIF City, baby!
Craig Chase took in the Loyola – UNC scrimmage this weekend and sent over these excellent photos! Enjoy Mr. Chase’s work, and get excited for the Spring season to kick off in earnest. Some D1 teams have started playing games, while others are still scrimmaging, and preparing for the real thing…
It’s 2013 for one more day. To celebrate the year that was, we’re dropping 13 awesome photos on you from the last 365 days of lacrosse action around the world. Some of them you’ve seen, and some you haven’t. Let’s give 2013 its proper due respect! We’ll show you a photo, and below each one […]
Craig Chase shot some great photos at the USA – Loyola scrimmage last weekend in Alexandria, VA, but some of them are even better in sets! A couple of great images from a big hit makes for a great GIF, and in this case, the hit is VERY clean, and from what we can tell, […]
Craig Chase took in the recent Loyola – Georgetown scrimmage, and came away with a ton of great photos of both the Hounds and Hoyas. Loyola took on Gtown at noon this past Saturday at the Play For Parkinson’s Event in Alexandria, VA. Right after this scrimmage, the Hounds took on Team USA Blue.
Craig Chase brought out a new toy when he was shooting photos of the Loyola Alumni Game, and he strapped to GoPro onto one of Loyola Alumni goalies, and got some up close and personal video of the scrimmage. The action comes in hot and heavy and it’s a great perspective on the speed of […]
Last weekend’s Hounds vs. Bayhawks game was a good one, with the Hawks holding on for a two goal lead and establishing the matchups for the playoffs. Photographer Craig Chase was on hand to take in the game, and he got a great one of Loyola Greyhounds grads Eric Lusby and Josh Hawkins, both of […]
