Epoch Lacrosse has released five generations of lacrosse shafts and today they release their first ever lacrosse head in The Hawk. Epoch developed this head in conjunction with Flip Naumburg of Vail, CSU, Rock-it-Pocket, and offset head technology fame. The head is something truly different, and I have been fortunate enough to play with a couple of recent prototypes.
It was not easy, but we have chosen the winner for the Epoch Lacrosse breast cancer awareness shaft giveaway contest. The LaxAllStars gang had a hard time selecting a winner, but Parker Nolan is the lucky recipient of a new Dragonfly from Epoch.
Only a couple of months after releasing their new and improved Gen4 shafts, Epoch is now getting set to also release their Gen5 shafts onto the market. The Gen4 shafts were lighter than the Gen3 shafts, and had a slightly different look. The Gen5 shafts take things a bit further, and offer Reload Technology that helps the shaft snap back into shape.
Our September content plan is off and rolling with some fantastic content surrounding everything that involves this great sport. Along with some great editorials from the likes of Connor Wilson, Jeff Brunelle, and many others, we will be unleashing plenty of Gear Reviews to get you ready to go for the season.
Epoch’s new line of shafts, the Gen4 version, are popping up in retailers across the country. Epoch sent over a great selection of their shafts for us to review, and after putting them to the test, we’re ready with our verdict!
