We’re back with the Alphabetical 2014 NCAA D1 Previews! Like last year, we’ll go through all of the D1 men’s teams for 2014 (there are 67 this year!) and we are now moving on to the Georgetown Hoyas, located in Washington, DC. Fun fact: Georgetown is the only D1 lacrosse school that starts with the letter G.

Peter Tumbas is at the IMLCA Coaches’ Convention in Baltimore, MD this weekend and will be reporting on the convention scene later in the coming week. For now, enjoy some photos of the upcoming gear for college teams in 2014 that is on display.
Craig Chase took in the recent Loyola – Georgetown scrimmage, and came away with a ton of great photos of both the Hounds and Hoyas. Loyola took on Gtown at noon this past Saturday at the Play For Parkinson’s Event in Alexandria, VA. Right after this scrimmage, the Hounds took on Team USA Blue.
College coaches hit the recruiting trail hard over the Summer, especially in June and July. They line the side of fields in their fold out chairs across the country, and scout talent, and look for future players. When the action gets close, they get a great view, but also run the risk of getting trucked.

Maryland came out and dominated Georgetown for much of their men’s lacrosse game on Friday, February 24th, and then the Hoyas made it closer at the end. Maryland in all black, looking pretty dominant right now.

Division 1 Universities have been uploading more and more highlight videos in 2011. This is especially great when the games aren’t televised and let’s us see teams like Canisius and Detroit Mercy, that we may not otherwise get to watch play at all. It’s a start! Bucknell, Maryland and UVA are all rolling early.
