2014 NCAA Championship & The LSM

We’re set up to see FIVE great games this weekend for NCAA Championship Weekend (two D1 semis, the D2 final, D3 final, and D1 final), and as usual, long stick midfielders will play a huge part. While there may not be a CJ Costabile of 2014 (then again, there may be!), these guys will play a huge role in how the games turn out.

Celebrating The Grinders

While attackmen, middies, goalies, and even defensemen, will get lots of recognition for their contributions to their teams there is a group of players grinding it out in positions that aren’t nearly as glorious, but no team could succeed without them. The class of 2014 is full of talent in these types of positions, and these are only a few of the many skilled players whose names you might not hear on TV.

Meet Mini Tucker Durkin

I love an overtly physical defenseman! Any good team can use a guy who is looking to bring the heat on hits, and when the guy can also play solid one on one defense, use his stick to move the ball, AND has a good lacrosse IQ, you have to think you’ve found a winner.
