Note: Adrenaline, an LXM sponsor, is an LAS advertising partner. Faceoff for the 8th game of the LXM|ATS is set for 6:15pm on Saturday, December 7th. Unfortunately Maverik United’s opportunity to end Team STX’s winning streak in Tucson was postponed until this weekend due to unprecedented weather conditions and cancellation of the game for player […]

Our friends at The Lacrosse Network retweeted this photo earlier this month, and it was just too good not to feature. Here we have a young lacrosse player watching the game between Maverik United and Team STX at LXM|ATS 214, complete with backwards TLN hat and stick in hand.
The LXM travels to Tucson, AZ this weekend with Team STX holding a formidable 5-2 lead in the 13 game series. Maverik United needs to win 5 of the next six games to come out on top, but as each and every LXM game has been competitive this year, it’s not out of the question. With a veteran defense that continues to come together, and an offense that is learning how to hang on late in games, it’s clear that Mav has what it takes to win. In Tucson, they really have to.
It looks like Team STX has started too pull away from Maverik United. The two teams squared off Saturday in Dallas, and the game finished much closer than when it started, 10-9. Check out the full recap of the game here!
The LXM PRO tour is on its latest stop and this weekend they are calling Dallas, TX home. Last week, Maverik United was up a cool 16-10 at the half, but Team STX put a stop to the bleeding with an 8 goal run. It came down to the wire, but Maverik could not pack […]
Team STX goalie, Matt Russell, takes a shot to the face. Following the ricochet, Maverik United crease attackman, Erik Krum, makes a diving attempt to recover the loose ball. The ref said the ball was in the crease, Krum thought it was out. One way or the other, Maxx Davis and Andrew Casimir didn’t care, don’t mess with their goalie!
The LXM PRO is in Atlanta, GA this weekend as Maverik United tries to even the all-time series with Team STX at three games apiece. I’m assuming you can do basic math, but if you can’t, the above means Mav is 2-3, while STX is 3-2. Most of the games between these two squads have been relatively tight, and both teams are capable of winning on any given day. So what will be the deciding factors in Saturday’s 6:15pm tilt?
Get your Halloween costume ready… It’s contest time at Lacrosse All Stars again!
The LXM Pro tour has had a busy few weeks, with two events in back to back weekends. We had a team in Utah to catch the first game, and our guys snagged two awesome pictures of LXM players doing the LaxAllStars pose.
A couple weekends ago we were lucky enough to make it down to LXM 801 in Orem, UT. I caught a peek of Matt Russell and Johnny Rodriguez’s goalie clinic and I noticed something a little different about Matt’s pocket. One of the high school guys, focused on the lesson, pulled Matt aside when he […]
The Lacrosse Show is BACK! Connor Wilson and Mark Powers run through five different lacrosse stories together, and then the two finish up the show with an interview featuring the NLL’s #1 Draft Pick, Logan Schuss!
On Saturday, the LXM Pro Tour made its way to Orem, Utah. I personally wasn’t able to catch the game, but we sent a crew to check it out. STX posted this photo of Kyle Harrison on Instagram, and well, it speaks for itself.
The title of this post may be confusing, because you might not know what a dap is. I didn’t know either, but LXM buds Kyle Harrison and Sam Bradman knew the word. Here, suited up for the Jack Lingo/Fireball squad at Lake Placid, they celebrated a goal with a dap.
In the LXM PRO’s last stop in Chicago, fans were treated to a big time whooping put on by Maverik United. Mav won the game 17-11, and just looked like they wanted it a whole lot more than Team STX. Maybe my article previewing the game spurred these guys on to some extra effort? I was a little harsh on the Brattons in particular, and they clearly came to play.
Over on Adrenaline’s website, it has been announced that both Rhamel and Shamel Bratton will be switching teams this weekend. Instead of donning the blue and white of Team STX, they will now be wearing the neon green and grey of Maverik United. To offset this loss of personnel, Davey Emala is being brought in by the boys in blue.
This summer I’ll be bringing you the newest weekly LAS series: Tweet of the Week. See an awesome picture of gear or a hilarious comment on Twitter? We want to see it! Send it to us with #TweetOfTheWeek and we’ll post the best of the best each week.
Last weekend at LXM|ATS San Diego Kevin Rowen caught up with Kyle Harrison and Sam Bradman at their shooting clinic with Peter Baum. The kids were really excited to see these guys take some rips, and K18 gave his famous triple-threat shooting talk while Baum focused on shooting on the run and Bradman showed off his one-of-a-kind shooting form.
I was a big fan of Jay Jalbert in his playing days at UVA, and I’ve liked the short videos he has produced in the next leg of his career. His new LXM video for Maverik Films is as legit as any before, and special for a couple of reasons…
