The Big Ten Conference has revealed the schedule of league games for 2015, the inaugural season of men’s lacrosse as a B1G-sponsored sport.

With the inaugural seasons of Big Ten men’s and women’s lacrosse set to begin next year, the conference today announced dates and sites for the 2015 and 2016 Big Ten Men’s and Women’s Lacrosse Tournaments.
A previous Club Directors Panel focused on how clubs are preparing their families for the accelerated recruiting process. Ryan Danehy, co-director of Go Blue and current assistant at Michigan, shared valuable insights from both sides of the process and then provided a great template for emailing college coaches.
I was lucky enough to get to fly back to Ohio for the weekend to attend the Ohio State vs. Michigan game to cap off Rivalry Week. The “Showdown in the Shoe” was played about two and a half hours before the Buckeyes’ spring football game in an attempt to build awareness around the Ohio State lacrosse program as well as to build as large of a crowd as possible to boo Michigan for the first time ever in the historic Horseshoe.
Some refer to it as the Greatest Rivalry in all of sports, in the Midwest and in much of the rest of the country you hear it called The Game. In the sporting world, everyone respects the historic rivalry between The Ohio State University Buckeyes and the University of Michigan Wolverines.
With the proliferation of tournaments and showcase camps, elite level instructional opportunities have become more and more rare. When you look at the numbers, this trend seems to be backwards simply because so many new players are picking up the sport. There are more opportunities to play the sport than every before but not as many opportunities to learn and develop skills from talented teachers.

The D1 NCAA Lacrosse season is well underway, and every single D1 program has played at least one game. Some teams have played as many as four games already, and we’ve got a couple of undefeated squads looking strong early. It’s time to run through the D1 scene and see where things stand.
The NCAA D1 season is now underway! During the first couple of weeks of lacrosse season we’ll be finishing up the Alphabetical 2014 NCAA D1 Previews! Like last year, we are going through all of the D1 men’s teams for 2014 (there are 67 this year!) and we are now moving on to the Michigan Wolverines, located in Ann Arbor, MI.

Dam Lomas continues to score big goals for the High Point men’s lacrosse team, and he added six huge goals to his season total in HPU’s 13-10 win over Michigan.
