Another great weekend of college lacrosse is in the books and some pretty superb video is already hitting the internet for many of these games. Gone are the days of reading score lines on the back page of USA Today… it’s the future. Take it to the house.

It’s February 17th, and that means the NESCAC has been practicing for two days now. It’s high time we got the D3 Report going again for 2014! Some teams are playing games, many more are still scrimmaging, and the big time action is just around the corner. Time to see where everyone is sitting at the table!
NCAA D3 contender Cortland State took on the Iroquois Nationals in a preseason scrimmage for the Red Dragons and a World Games warm up/work out for the Nationals.
This week’s Throwback Thursday is all about D3 love and our premier video showcases Cortland State vs Ohio Wesleyan in a 1989 barn burner! Goals on goals… just the way we like it!
Last year was a very exciting year in Division 3 men’s lacrosse, with Stevenson winning their first ever championship. Aurora College in Colorado made their first NCAA tournament, and won a game. RIT beat Cortland with a hidden ball trick, and Salisbury was finally dethroned as the most dominant team in the South, if only for a season. As fall ball and training continues to roll, here’s a look at some of the top teams from last year, as well as a couple potential dark horses for 2014.
As we look back on the 2013 men’s college lacrosse season, one can see why this year was different from the rest. It was the year of the Underdog, and Lance Antoine loves it!
A big topic of discussion this Spring has been the relatively low attendance at the NCAA Quarterfinals, and Final Four weekend. The usual outlets are offering the usual banal reasons, but doing little to actually think about what is going wrong here.

Wooooo! What a day of lacrosse! We’ve got a ton of Lacrosse on TV, MCLA Championships being broadcast online (8pm ET), the D3 Final Four is going down, and the D2 Final Four is also on tap. The MLL is also getting into the action. There is almost too much lacrosse today, but thankfully, “too much lacrosse” is not a real thing!
Tufts took an early 3-0 lead in the first quarter over Wesleyan, but the Cardinals fought back and ended up winning a tight game, 8-7, in regulation.
With 30 seconds left, Colby had possession, but Wesleyan forced a turnover, pushed the ball down field and, with only a second or two left, Graham Mcnab found Quentin DellaFera cutting to the crease, and DellaFera finishes with a low bounce shot to win it for the Cardinals.
