If you’re a fan of the New York Giants you probably know linebacker Mark Herzlich. But did you know he played lacrosse for Pennsylvania powerhouse Conestoga High School? Well apparently someone at Under Armour did, because it looks like they hooked him up with a nice stick to throw around with.

It’s fairly well known that longtime New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick is a lacrosse guy. His daughter is the head coach for Wesleyan’s women’s program, and she as well as Bill himself played their college ball at Wesleyan. This week, Peter Baum tweeted a photo of Belichick wearing a Johns Hopkins lacrosse sweatshirt at the NFL Combine.
The women’s lacrosse team at Drew University had the once in a lifetime opportunity to be part of the Bruno Mars (and Red Hot Chili Peppers) Super Bowl halftime show last weekend. The team was chosen from an applicant pool along with students from other schools local to MetLife Stadium, where the NFL’s season finale was held.
The entire sports world seemingly has zeroed in on one big storyline in the NFL. Richard Sherman’s interview, and the media fallout thereafter – which Connor examined yesterday – has intensified the Broncos offense versus Seahawks defense Super Bowl script. As lacrosse tough guy Tucker Durkin puts it…
The fallout from Richard Sherman’s post game interview is ravaging the American sports landscape right now, and I’m a little shocked at how clearly the line is being drawn in this situation. Note I did NOT say Sherman’s interview is ravaging America, because it is not. It was just an interview. I am talking about the manufactured fallout. It’s very different.
The Chicago Bears just missed out on the NFL playoffs this season, but while they were playing, wide receiver Brandon Marshall was wearing some awesome custom Huarache 4s. Is that fur inside? If I played ball somewhere as cold as the Windy City, then I’d want that fur in my cleats too.
Last week we brought you Two Bills, Two Huaraches, and this week we have Two Lions, Two MORE Huaraches. A few weeks ago spotter Brandon noticed that Detroit quarterback Matthew Stafford and center Dominic Raiola were both rocking turf Huaraches.
We’ve had a ton of Huarache spotting so far this NFL season, and we aren’t done yet! Although the Buffalo Bills didn’t make the playoffs this year, they did have a few players wearing Nike lacrosse cleats.
Another Huarache spotting…but this one’s different! This is a commercial for the University of Phoenix, and it features Arizona Cardinal Larry Fitzgerald rocking some black and white Huarache 3s.
We have seen A LOT of Huarache spottings in the NFL this season. Many of them that we’ve pointed out have been courtesy of tips from reader Sergey Baklykov, and this one is no different. Here we have our first Pittsburgh Steeler player spotted in Huaraches, and it’s Emmanuel Sanders.
Sergey Baklykov has been all over these Huarache spottings in the NFL! Here’s another one for Greg Toler – they’re his second pair of Breast Cancer Awareness Huarache 3s.
Sergey Baklykov sent us an another email, with yet another pair of custom Huarache cleats for NFL player Greg Toler made my mache275.
Tipster Sergey Baklykov sent us an email letting us know about an awesome custom cleat maker that he found on Instagram. The user, mache275, designed these Huarache 3 cleats with Colts logos for Indianapolis player Greg Toler.
This week, our Reader Poll is all about the NFL and Lacrosse. We’ve compiled a list of our favorite players and just top players on the defensive side of the ball from the NFL.
Chris Hogan played lacrosse at Penn State University for four years, but his athletic journey was far from over. Instead of vying for a spot in Major League Lacrosse, Hogan went back to school, and played football at Monmouth University, a smaller D1 school that has produced NFL players like Miles Austin. Now, Hogan is making waves on the Buffalo Bills’ roster in the National Football League himself.
