College Sports: Is Complete Change Coming?
Sportscasters, College Presidents, and the even the average man on the street, typically dismissed the idea that college athletes should get paid. A select few saw a new potential reality, but now that Northwestern’s Football Team has been granted the right to unionize, people are starting to approach the topic with more nuance (well, sometimes…) and some deserved gravitas.
Hot Pot: Lacrosse Companies & NCAA Eligibility Violations
Larger lacrosse companies almost exclusively put up photos of their gear on social media, some of which D1 teams will use, and many smaller companies have followed suit. Other companies have taken a different approach, and in my opinion, it’s bordering on an NCAA eligibility violation.
