I took in the New York City Public School Athletic League (PSAL) Championship games for both the boys and girls, and for both the Bowl Division and the Championship Divisions. It was a great day of lacrosse in the Big Apple!

With NYC public school’s spring break vacation over, teams are picking right back up where they left off. Let’s take a look at how teams fared coming off of a long week with minimal practice.

A couple of Sundays back saw a constant drizzle slowly drench New York City, but that didn’t stop the Public School Athletic League lacrosse championships, which took place at Aviator Sports Complex, in Brooklyn, from going down in a pretty amazing fashion.
The Eagle Academy Lacrosse Team is off to a good start in its first year as a Developmental Program within New York City’s PSAL (Public School Athletic League). The team has had lower numbers than either of its opponents (usually about half as many: 30 vs 15), but has played very competitively so far.
The Public School All-Stars took on the private Independent All-Stars yesterday in New York City for a great game. We’ve got game photos and a write up from the Private Schools’ 17-13 win.
