With Rob Pannell getting drafted in NLL, signing with StringKing, making the cut for Team USA (so far), and signing with Brine, he has been a busy man! The guys over at StringKing sat down with Rob to talk about it all, and we’re loving this in-depth conversation.
55 players were drafted into the NLL last night in Oakville, Ontario. The Lacrosse Network held a LIVE Hangout, which was a lot of fun, and can be seen above. See below for the complete 2013 NLL Draft Results and some commentary on how it all went down. I’ll provide some general observations, and name a couple of guys worth watching!
Exciting news in the lacrosse world today, Rob Pannell signed with StringKing Lacrosse.
With Championship Weekend right around the corner, Major League Lacrosse has been recognizing some of the hardest working members of their organization, and rightfully so!
Rob Pannell has signed a five year deal with Brine, and this lengthy contract should help keep Rob going in lacrosse full-time for the foreseeable future. We spoke with Rob about the deal, what it means to him, and why he chose to go with Brine.
In today’s MLL, the culture of consistency has become more vital to an organization’s success than ever before. It’s no longer about assembling the best group of all-star caliber players and throwing them out on the field, it’s about finding personnel that fit a system and are both willing, and able, to stay local, and together, as much as possible.
Rob Pannell, Max Seibald, and Joe Vitale put on a shooting demonstration earlier this Summer at a New York City Doc’s NYC/Maximum Lacrosse Camp, and we got some great video of these guys ripping rope.

Both Rob and James Pannell have been working Max Seibald’s Maximum Lacrosse Camps in NYC this week, and while the two definitely get along very nicely, the spirit of healthy competition is alive and well in this family!
