In what has quickly become an annual slugfest, the Salisbury Sea Gulls took down the Stevenson Mustangs in a top 5 NCAA D3 contest last night. As is often the case in an SU – SU game, there was plenty of laundry thrown by the refs, and the teams combined for 26 minutes of penalties via 29 infractions.

That’s right, it’s Rivalry Week on LAS! We’re getting all jazzed up for the Hopkins – Maryland game, and we’re going to be taking in the OSU – Michigan game LIVE. War On The Shore Video: Salisbury Defeats WAC
Salisbury took down WAC 12-7 to win the War on the Shore! This is a huge annual rivalry game, and the winner of the yearly contest takes home the Charles B. Clark Cup each year to make it extra special. Salisbury hosted WAC this year, and the atmosphere was electric, as it always is!
Is Salisbury BACK?
Last year SU went 17-6 (man, that’s a lot of games!) and lost to Stevenson in the NCAAs 12-6. Stevenson went on to win it all, and all of a sudden, people were talking about a new King of the South. But now, Salisbury releases a video on Vimeo titled We Are Salisbury, and it has to have you thinking that last year was an aberration. The guys at Salisbury are clearly ready to roll.
Early Men’s D3 Lacrosse Preview
Last year was a very exciting year in Division 3 men’s lacrosse, with Stevenson winning their first ever championship. Aurora College in Colorado made their first NCAA tournament, and won a game. RIT beat Cortland with a hidden ball trick, and Salisbury was finally dethroned as the most dominant team in the South, if only for a season. As fall ball and training continues to roll, here’s a look at some of the top teams from last year, as well as a couple potential dark horses for 2014.
Go Go Go Coaching: Lacrosse Vs Football
Kliff Kingsbury is now the youngest coach in the BCS, at only 33 years of age. He was the offensive coordinator at Texas A&M last year, and helped propel Johnny Manziel to a Heisman worthy season, so trusting his knowledge and approach should be a little easier, even if you’re an age-ist.
