Finally, the MCLA National Championship games are nigh. Tomorrow, May 17th, four universities will play in two games to decide the National Champions of the MCLA Division I and II. The Division II game starts at noon and the Division I game will begin immediately after at 3.

Both Syracuse and St. John’s entered the game in Kennesaw, GA with a 2-2 record, but Cuse got above .500 with the 14-8 win in front of more than 5,500 fans, many of them local. Clearly the chance to see top quality D1 lacrosse was enough to draw out the growing Georgia lacrosse community. Photos, GIF, video, and recap!
Yale hosted St. John’s in New Haven, CT for the Bulldogs’ season opening game last weekend and the Bulldogs came away with a 10-6 home win over the visiting Red Storm (1-1 with a win over Holy Cross). Around 1300 fans came out to see these two Top 20 teams play, which is a solid number for a February game!
St. Johns University kicked off the 2014 lacrosse season with a 15-13 victory over Holy Cross on February 16.
The NCAA D1 season is now underway! During the first couple of weeks of lacrosse season we’ll be finishing up the Alphabetical 2014 NCAA D1 Previews! Like last year, we are going through all of the D1 men’s teams for 2014 (there are 67 this year!) and we are now moving on to the St. John’s Red Storm, located in Queens, NY.
This past weekend, St. John’s and Harvard traveled to West Point for a little outside scrimmage action. Fall ball is all about getting better, implementing fundamentals, working in new faces, checking out new gear, and most importantly, just playing some lacrosse!

The Red Storm of St. John’s made their way to South Bend, Indiana to take on the #1 Notre Dame Fighting Irish and emerged from the road contest with yet another HUGE win for the St. John’s program.

Connor Wilson reports from the Big City Classic at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. In the first match-up of the day, Notre Dame men’s lacrosse ran away with what was a tight game early to beat St. John’s 13-6.
This is the final installment of LAS’ Big City Classic coverage. A great day full of friends both new and old, great lacrosse action and pretty stunning weather (at least for April in New Jersey). The video is pretty rocking too. Connor is getting good at this and he didn’t even take a single film class.
