Throwback Thursday: When Stevenson Was Villa Julie

Stevenson lacrosse

If you’re not amped up for the Stevenson – Salisbury game this weekend, you’ve clearly got huge problems. It’s going to an absolute throw down. I guarantee it! To compliment this week’s Hot Pot, which explains Stevenson’s rise and the greatest burgeoning rivalry in D3, I thought it would be interesting to see Stevenson’s change over the years, in video format.

Hot Pot: Biggest Game Of The Week

Normally you’ve got some monster D1 match up, and it more than qualifies as the best game of the weekend, but this weekend? This weekend is different, and there is a different college level of lacrosse you need to watch.

Welcome back to another crazy installment of the D3 Report! This season has been chock full of upsets, surprise teams, and quick Top 20 risers. Early Men’s D3 Lacrosse Preview

Last year was a very exciting year in Division 3 men’s lacrosse, with Stevenson winning their first ever championship. Aurora College in Colorado made their first NCAA tournament, and won a game. RIT beat Cortland with a hidden ball trick, and Salisbury was finally dethroned as the most dominant team in the South, if only for a season. As fall ball and training continues to roll, here’s a look at some of the top teams from last year, as well as a couple potential dark horses for 2014.

Hot Pot: The Next Tucker Durkin

Tucker Durkin’s high school highlight tape quickly became a thing of legend (at least in my mind) because of the sheer ferocity on display. Durkin thinks man first, and makes the opposition pay time and time again. If you haven’t seen it, it’s truly worth a watch or ten. He just knocks over everybody out there.

Sunday LIVE: D2 Championship

Sunday plays host to the NCAA D2 and D3 men’s lacrosse championships. We’ll be updating this post with photos from the games, and posting notable updates in the comments section.

Final Four Video Explosion

Yesterday’s games were insanely good. Cornell and Duke delivered with what seemed like three games and an epic shootout finish, while Syracuse and Denver kept things slower, and the scoring was a good deal lower.
