Over the Summer, many of us get the chance to try new things, and take the risk. What risk am I talking about? It’s the risk associated with something new, something challenging, or something unknown.

This summer, I had the great privilege of being able to coach with the StickStar program based out of Texas. Being a part of this organization gave me a different perspective on the game and ultimately helped me to become a better lacrosse player and coach in the end.
Today marks the end of my summer as I start fall classes once again at Boise State. This week I thought I’d share some tracks from or featuring artists that have passed away. So rest in peace summer and these following artists. Their music will live on.
This past weekend I was lucky enough to attend, and participate in, my first Brawl in McCall. The Brawl is a fairly small tournament on the beautiful Payette Lake, a few hours north of Boise, Idaho.

I don’t know if you guys are listening to this new Daft Punk album or not, but it’s amazing. Sure, it’s nothing like One More Time or their popular earlier music, but I have to say I like their advanced quasi-minimalist sound more now than ever.
Columbus and Cleveland definitely host their share of dominant teams such as Dublin-Jerome, Upper Arlington, Rocky River, and University School. Don’t get me wrong though, Northwest Ohio has some top level teams too, like Sylvania Southview or Toledo St. Francis, but they have something better than elite teams, and that is expansion!
The campers and coaches kept the heat turned on throughout Day to at Rhino Lacrosse Camp in West Linn, OR. Before even a single word from Coach V, every player took the field and started warming up.
Rhino Lacrosse is back for 2012! We kick off Day 1 in West Linn, Oregon, with some incredible intensity from the campers and even better coaching from a very knowledgeable coaching staff.
Connor Wilson and Team LAS will be heading to the Third Annual CityLax Southampton Shootout, which is a charity lacrosse tournament that benefits CityLax, a not for profit in New York City. 2009 and 2010 were great. High expectations for 2011!
