It’s Memorial Day 2014, and that means it’s time for the NCAA D1 Lacrosse Championship Game! It’s the Duke Blue Devils vs. the Fighting Irish of Notre Dame.
Limestone defeated LIU Post 12-6 for the D2 national title in NCAA Men’s Lacrosse today. The game started out tight, but Limestone slowly began to pull away and never looked back. On the day, they were the best team, but the margin of victory was larger than anticipated, and probably bigger than many segments of the game would make you think.
In game 2 of our Final Four action yesterday, the Notre Dame Fighting Irish found a comfortable win over the Maryland Terrapins to advance to the National Championship game on Monday, 1pm et.
In what has quickly become an annual slugfest, the Salisbury Sea Gulls took down the Stevenson Mustangs in a top 5 NCAA D3 contest last night. UMass looked tough from the first minute and when OSU made a run to tie things up in the fourth quarter, UMass showed some solid composure, eventually winning 12-11 in OT.
