We thought the Old School question was settled last week. We really did! But an encounter with lacrosse legend Chris Massey is making us rethink our position! We’ve got video!

For those who learn visually, Muamer Razic has a fantastic source for learning to string traditional pockets! Weston from Colorado details how to string up sick traditional lacrosse pockets and shows off one of his creations in a NEW Under Armour head.
The Old School Lacrosse magic is back! Now we’re pinching, stringing and re-using the non-offset lacrosse heads of yesteryear. Got Old School? Send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org!
Ask and ye shall receive! Jeremy Thompson switched it up to mesh last week, so what happened this weekend against St. John’s? Did he stick with mesh? Back to traditional? You’re slowly killing Connor, Jeremy Thompson!
Usually, when a player switches from traditional to mesh, the world doesn’t take notice. But when Jeremy Thompson does it? The lacrosse world is left gasping. Well, Connor Wilson is anyway.
After stringing up a traditional lacrosse pocket in a Gait Torque, I was chastised for putting such a “heavy” pocket in such a light stick. Is traditional really heavy? This question needs to be settled. We’re bringing in our own Mythbuster, Connor Wilson.
The debate rages on! If traditional is better than mesh, why don’t more people use it? No one seems to actually prefer mesh pockets but 99% of players use them. How can you explain this? People will do anything for an edge, even use traditional. We can’t be that lazy!
You only have to bear through 2 more excruciating mornings of Connor Wilson making the lacrosse coffee. Sometimes it’s been less than perfect but I really think you can feel the love in there. The Force is strong in this one? All the good lacrosse news and stories of interest. Plus some thoughts on why Traditional rules.
Its later in the evening but I’m still thinking lacrosse. Since I didn’t get any suggestions on our facebook page that would require less than 30,000 words (Thanks for trying Sam! That could be a book!), I went with pictures of 412 playing lax in college and some traditional stringing. Standard.
Traditional stringing makes me happy. It’s so good I did it twice.
Great video, stringing and getting strong. It’s all inside. Come and get some!
I went on a little traditional stringing bender this week. Gotta feed the need.
Nicely done traditional string jobs from a loyal reader. We love it!
