Traditional Thursday: My Recent Work

Towards the end of the college season, work picked up to the point that I couldn’t string as much as I’d like to, but now that things are slowing down just a little bit, I’ve found the time to dial just a couple of sticks… here’s a look at some of the heads I’ve been stringing.

Traditional Thursday: NEW Top String Tutorial

While in in Prague, CW had the pleasure of meeting Piotr Stalmach, of Mesh Wizard fame (based out of Poland), and Piotr graciously offered to create a new traditional top string video tutorial for us.

Traditional Thursday: Billy Learns To String

Last week Billy met up with a couple of guys from Throne of String, Cesar and Chris, and the three of us got the chance to hang out, and learn how to string traditional, down in Brooklyn, with the one and only Greg Rose of Zen, Lacrosse, and the Art of Stringing.

Traditional Thursday: Lance Gibson’s Connor Pocket

Lance Gibson strung up a super clean 6-diamond traditional pocket in a brand new Brine Clutch Elite, sent the photos in, and even referred to it as a “Connor Pocket” because he used a tear drop top string. Doug Runs SONofaHON down in Maryland, and he is the creator of the EverPocket, which is a removable/replaceable traditional pocket. Now Doug is back with a beaded traditional string, and while it’s one of the weirdest things I’ve seen in a while, it’s also one of the cooler things I’ve seen… Love the creativity!

Traditional Thursday: Boston Cannons Ari Sussman

Last week I filmed a bunch of MLL guys training for the 2013 season. After it was all said and done, I got the opportunity to speak with Ari Sussman of the Boston Cannons, and we hit up the topic of traditional stringing because, well, what the heck else would we talk about?
