How Good Will Iroquois Lacrosse Be In Denver?

With the World Championships just over a month away, it’s high time to start looking at some of the top contenders a lot deeper. While the US and Canada are still the clear cut favorites, and Australia has had a lock on the bronze (or silver) since the WLC inception in 1967, the Iroquois Lacrosse program seems to be putting forth a really competitive team for 2014, and we’re all curious to see if they can do better than a 4th place finish, which is their best finish ever at a world field lacrosse championship.

NJCAA Players Of The Year

It should come as no surprise that Randy Staats (attack) and Warren Hill (goalie) took home the NJCAA Player of the Year hardware, or that both players came from Onondaga Community College, which is fresh off winning their fifth straight JuCo title.

Onondaga Community College and Nassau Community College absolutely went at it yesterday out on Long Island for the NJCAA Men’s Lacrosse national championship. OCC ended up with the 15-11 win, and their fifth straight title, and we were roundly impressed with the talent on both teams.
