Good Labor Day morning! One of my buzz words for this year has been FORWARD. It will probably continue to be one of my buzz words through the end of the year, into next year, and beyond. Sometimes progress happens a lot slower than we expect. And while it’s tough to swallow, I occasionally have […]
Happy Friday! The GREAT Life G-ratitude R-espect E-nthusiasm A-ttitude T-eam first
I read a great Gandhi quote – and great reminder – yesterday that said: To believe in something and not to live it is dishonest. I remember replying to a friend’s post on Twitter a couple months back. The post said something to the effect of, “I went out of my way to hold a […]
As I mentioned earlier this week, having a team-first attitude means reminding ourselves that “it’s not about me.” As an athlete, it means putting in a little extra work to aid in the success of your team. I came across 2 pictures on Google Images. One read, “My attitude is based on how you treat me.” The other read, “Don’t get my personality and my attitude twisted. My personality is ME, and my attitude depends on YOU!”
GREAT morning, all! I’m not sure how driving is where you are. Driving in Miami can be one of the most frustrating things in my day to day life. Having said that, of all the things that could be frustrating in life, if that is one of the biggest, then I am doing just fine! […]
As they say, attitude is a little thing that goes a long way! Every piece of The GREAT Life is a choice. You don’t have to be grateful or express gratitude for everything, you make a conscious choice to do so. You don’t have to make an effort to show respect to everyone (and it […]
Washington Irving may have said it best: “There’s an eloquence in true enthusiasm that is not to be doubted.”
