Teaching Lacrosse “PBS Style”

This informative YouTube series by Prime Sports Training really reminds me of mid ’90’s PBS, more specifically Bill Nye the Science Guy.

After watching a few of these videos my favorite is definitely this one because of its SWEET opening.

Taking a page from Joenandez’s book, I think these videos are a great example of helping to spread the game. They teach the crucial fundamentals and the finer points that make great laxers, and they’re just the type of videos some of us could’ve used a few years ago (looking at you Mr. Blue Sky…).

Imagine where we’ll be in 10 years with a generation of new lacrosse players who have all had access to the best coaching in the sport. I think it might be a start for leveling the playing field and will definitely go far in creating an overall higher level of play.
