The Spoon Feed, Filling You Up Every Friday

LaxAllStars Spoon Feed

What a week.  Some form of tuberculosis or possibly a new version of the black death has striken the LaxAllStars network and I feel like I’ve been blogging non-stop for 3 days.  The entire network is hard to pilot Han Solo. It’s kinda like driving a car while trying to simultaneously text a hot date and chow down on a bean and cheese burritto.  What I’m sayin is that essentially we’re captaining this baby with our knees right now so pardon me if I don’t check my rear view mirror as we change lanes into the weekend.

We applied for humanitarian aide as well as a government bailout but so far the only assistance came in the form of a Friday appearance by GMODT over on 412 and his depressing realization that the Yankees and Lakers are on top of the sports world. Glad we roused him from hibernation for that gem.

Yeesh.

But at least the Feed is always here to keep us on the sunny side of things.  Here’s the top random internet musings arbitrarily numbered for your viewing pleasure.

Time to get fed.

Honorable Mentions

#1 Brett Favre Avenges Storied 16-Year Career With Packers | The Onion

#2 – Leno takes pot shots at Letterman or possibly the most back-handed compliment ever?

If it were me, it would kill me. I’m the guy who’s been married 29 years. But Dave has never pretended to be Mr. Moral America, he’s never set himself up that way. He’s not a hypocrite.

5. They must have caught our “Case Against Soccer” article

This video’s made the rounds today and has taken the internet by storm.  The New Mexico player has been suspended according to ESPN.  Who knew that girls soccer was this rough?  It’s like the running of the brides out there.

4. Maverik’s new digs

In case you missed it Maverik launched a new site. Tons of well produced, killer video including this one featuring Paul Rabil.  Come to learn about new gear but stay for the corner ripping action and the bumpin’ soundtrack.

3. “It isn’t the mountains ahead to climb that wear you out; it’s the pebble in your shoe.”

While we’re talking about The Greatest, make sure you catch ESPN‘s 30 for 30 documentary called “Muhummad and Larry” and the sad, compelling story of his last stab at a title.

1. Noah wants to teach you basketball…

…and humiliate a little girl in the process

I almost feel bad about laughing at the little guy. He’s so earnest.  But a) that’s clearly a 6 ft hoop and b) he poster-izes a little girl. Plus you know Noah’s dad (or whoever is directing this masterpiece) is the real driving force behind the whole video. Kid definitely had cue cards.

B-E-E-F indeed, Noah.
