If ONLY there were an MLL team in NYC! I would be at every game fo sho!
The prospect of going to Hempstead though? not quite as enticing. if there were better trains? then maybe... but probably not.
The City is just so empty on the summer weekends, it might be hard to ever have a pro lax team here. heck, even the NFL teams play in JerZ!

the lacrosseallstars logo is much better! ha!
I think the fact that the Titans had to pay to use the arena differently than the Rangers or Knicks made a lot of sense. they have fewer games and draw much smaller crowds. I would have loved to see a game last year but they decided it was a good idea to have 4 home fields (with one of them in FLA!) so it was not destined to work out.
I rarely saw any marketing efforts from the Titans even though they had big name players. there was very little community outreach and this move isn't nyc's fault and it isn't the fans' fault. It is the league's fault and it is the fault of management of the Titans. The NLL offices are in.... NYC! yet they can't make it work here? come on.
I'm really dissappointed in the NYC franchise. the grassroots effort just wasn't there and they have no one to blame but themselves.
I truly hope that the Titans can make it work in Orlando.
It will be good for the game to get more exposure in FLA, a quickly growing lax state and it will be good to see the indoor game spread a little more. I played some boxlax down in Ft. Lauderdale but haven't been able to find any in NYC... maybe that tells us something. maybe it doesn't.
