And I raise my Arnold Palmer to you in return toast. As my 7th grader approaches the time I will no longer be coaching him, I am taking solace in knowing our youth program is strong, and I will drop back to coach a 3rd/4th grade team, or perhaps even the little bobble-heads to fill the void I will feel. #alwaysGTG

Great post! I can relate, but I'm still on the early side of the story with a 7th grader. I watched my own father go through this process as his sons graduated from the game, and he still went back to the fields to take game photos for the families even though his own kids had moved on. We still find times to rally around the game, and usually gather at the NCAA finals each year when our own family lacrosse obligations don't interfere. Thanks for sharing this story; it will help me savor each moment of the process.
