Both the Wimmer Elite and Masters teams went 5-0 to take home the hardware once again. This means many things, but the most important is that the charities that Wimmer Solutions generously donates to on behalf of each lacrosse team that wins their respective division.

It’s Hawaii time and Malcolm Chase is running with Wimmer Solutions in the Elite and Masters divisions! His team – his lacrosse family – is off to their usual start, and is currently 3-0 in the Elite and 4-0 in Masters, and looking strong in both divisions.
Pete Sayia spent the last week or so in Hawai’i, playing lacrosse and making us jealous. He obviously had a great time, and included this note with his snapshot, which is our Photo of the Week!
Brown hosted both the Sankofa Lacrosse Alliance “Ambassadors” team, as well as a team of English National squad hopefuls for three one hour scrimmages. See the excellent photos below from Greg, and expect much more on this interesting event early next week.
As the Polish Lacrosse Leagues 1 & 2 pick up speed, it’s starting to become clear who has the upper hand. We’ll also take a look at the distances our teams are traveling to play lacrosse. Talk about sacrifice to Grow The Game! Watch out for the game MVP’s to make an impact in Denver next year.
Roll Gate took on the Brooklyn Dodgers in the noon NYC ULAX game thus past Sunday and we got some pretty goals, and a couple of beauty saves. The goalies were “on” in all three games this weekend and were the definite stars of Sunday. A couple of Lafayette alumni also had big offensive days, and these guys notched a couple of sweet men’s league fall ball goals.
One of the Japanese attendees of last year’s Hawai’i Tournament caught the Wimmer boys “warming up” for an early round game. Paul Rabil, Max Seibald, Brett Queener, and a bunch of other pros are messing around, throwing some tricks, and proving their full belief in the “sun’s out, guns out” mentality.
For the past two years, the Brooklyn Brawl lacrosse tournament has been held in Brooklyn. Now that the one day tourney is expanding, and moving indoors (November 2nd can be cold!), the event has moved West across a couple of rivers, and will be held in Randolph, New Jersey, at the Indoor Sport Pavilion.
We love learning about new tournaments, or places where the game is growing, and Belgrade, Serbia seems to fit that mold pretty nicely. The game seems to be taking off in the Balkans, and Ivan Negrojević sent over the below info to help us all stay up to date on the progress being made in Serbia and beyond.
Sunday was cloudy and a little bit misty in New York City, but that didn’t stop the die hard players in ULAX’s fall ball league from going out and giving it their best… or at least the best they could manage on a Sunday morning. We got a couple of dive shot attempts, and an almost goalie goal!

Shendelle Oliver returns to LAS to bring us a great update and photos from Grand Final Day in Western Australia! It was a muddy affair, but the teams all brought their best efforts in hopes of taking home the WA Premierships!
Salt Shakerz Lacrosse has committed to participate in the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer (which takes place on October 19th-20th) in New York City for 2013. We hope the turnout from the Shakerz community is bigger than last year! And more importantly, the Shakerz have set an ambitious fundraising goal of $5,000, and we need your help!
