For our first ever Community Content post, we have a video submitted by socolax2, aka Will Wezenter II, Southern Connecticut State University Assistant Coach. This video is special because it isn’t of Will’s team – in fact, it’s of a conference opponent!
In partnership with Cascade and Maverik Lacrosse, LaxAllStars.com is excited to announce a lacrosse helmet design contest centered around something that is close to our hearts. Prior to founding Lacrosse All Stars, Jeff Brunelle and Ryan Craven both played in the MCLA, a league that is made up entirely of collegiate student athletes who pay to play.
The 2013 Las Vegas Lacrosse Showcase went down last weekend in Sin City, and I was there with UCLA competing in the Best of the West collegiate division. I was able to snap some photos of play in all divisions, though, and here are some of the best!
Talking Pockets is back with another MCLA interview. This time, we talk pockets with Sonoma State sophomore Michael Tomita, who strung up a then-brand new Lakota U head at the beginning of the summer.
For our first entry in our expanded Talking Pockets series, we’re bringing you another player interview, this time from the MCLA ranks. A few weeks ago, Sam May, sophomore middie at UCLA, took some time to talk about his newly strung pocket at Bruins Lax Summer Camp.
As you know, here at LaxAllStars we are all about Growing the Game. So when I saw this post about new MCLA teams, I immediately was interested to hear what new teams were popping up and how the game was growing at the MCLA level.
The UCSB club puts on the SB60 Elite, where 60 high level players come together for college level coaching and drilling, led by Michael Allen. While the concept of a small side elite camp is not unique, I do think the way they filmed the action is special. They used a flying drone to film the camp!
We have a problem, we just can’t get enough lacrosse. Cecil Copeland, a reknowned MCLA photographer, reached out to us with a beautiful offer of 2013 MCLA Tournament photos, how could we resist?
The University of Idaho men’s lacrosse team recently released a new recruiting video that sheds a nice light on the MCLA program up north in Moscow, Idaho. Take a few minutes to watch it, assessing the highlights you see and listening to the comments from Colton Raichl, the club’s president. If you’re a high school junior […]
I was fortunate enough to be invited down to Greenville, SC to be a color commentator this past week for the first two rounds of the 2013 MCLA Championships. I arrived in beautiful Greenville, South Carolina on Sunday and immediately immersed myself amongst the other commentators, coaches, and everyone else affiliated with the MCLA. Several […]
Forum Friday heads to Greenville, South Carolina for the 2013 MCLA National Championships!
As we laid out in last week’s Reader Poll, we are dedicating our May Reader Polls to the College Lacrosse Champions. This week, we are voting on the MCLA D1. The tournament officially kicked off Monday in beautiful Greenville, South Carolina. Our own Krieg Shaw was there as a color commentator for the first two […]

If your photo gets chosen for our Photo of the Week, we’ll hook you up with your very own LaxAllStars.com Prize Pack courtesy of the The Lacrosse Shop. To submit your photo, […]
Day 2 of the tournament is about to kick off and there will be some great match-ups for both D1 and D2 games. There were a few hiccups yesterday, as many so poignantly tweeted out, but the MCLA did what they could to work through things. This morning, I get the pleasure of announcing the […]
What first round upsets will we see in the MCLA D2?
