The College Lacrosse season is upon us, and while every team out there hasn’t played a game yet (NCAA D3 NESCAC teams don’t start practice for 5 more days), plenty of teams have seen game action, and others are putting up solid preseason video. That means one thing: It’s time for a Video Explosion!
Yesterday’s Johns Hopkins Vs Ohio State game was the first college lacrosse game of the year to be broadcast on national TV (ESPNU), and it quickly showed just how important playing games on TV has become in the modern world. From way-too-early-hype to converting new fans, lacrosse on TV is a difference maker for our sport.

A few weekends back, I spent the entire day outside of Los Angeles for the final LXM PRO event of the 2013-2014 season. With the event also came the final Adrenaline tournament of the year. But what is it that keeps bringing teams back to ADRLN tournaments? Here’s what players and coaches have to say.

The fallout from Richard Sherman’s post game interview is ravaging the American sports landscape right now, and I’m a little shocked at how clearly the line is being drawn in this situation. Note I did NOT say Sherman’s interview is ravaging America, because it is not. It was just an interview. I am talking about the manufactured fallout. It’s very different.
Well the feeling is bittersweet, the 2013-14 LXM PRO season is now officially behind us. Now it’s time for the boys to go home and train for the next season, and probably do a little coaching in between.
