I found this older lacrosse ball a while back, and it was a truly great find. I was running a camp, and doing a ball hunt, and I thought I’d found just another lost nugget at first. Then I pulled it out from under the bleachers, and I was pleasantly surprised to see that it was totally weird!

Lax Hacks: Saving Your Butt

0 - Published September 28, 2013 by in Gear, Lax Hacks, The Life

This simple Lax Hack will keep your shaft from “cookie cuttering” your rubber end cap. Personally I don’t use rubber butt ends anymore but I used to use this trick to keep my shafts from ripping apart the rubber and exposing the metal. Not only is an uncovered butt end dangerous but it’s also illegal and you’ll be putting your team at risk for an unnecessary penalty.

Gear Review: Edge X Superlight by Brine Lacrosse

The Edge is famous for being an elite defensive head, and while this incarnation is no different, it does provide more versatility due to its universal specs and “Superlight” construction. As an offensive player, I was curious to see how I’d like this head, and was overall impressed with how it performed.

That goal was to bring reasonably priced, high performance lacrosse shafts to his players, who play in non traditional areas. Bryan coaches lacrosse in Montana and he created Musket shafts with HIS players in mind. There are two composite Musket shafts, one black, and one white.

Gear Review: Lakota Head by Nike Lacrosse

0 - Published September 13, 2013 by in Gear Reviews

I got to check out the Nike Lakota head, which has been out for a while and has emerged as a high school favorite, and I was pretty impressed with the product. It’s a really good option for a youth, high school, or post-collegiate player because it’s pretty tough, has a solid price point, and is a charm to string for the most part.
