One Year with CityLax Video
CityLax (New York City) uses a public-private partnership model to develop and expand the game of lacrosse inside New York City public schools. The not-for-profit provides grants, equipment, free year round player clinics, PSAL trophies, coaches’ clinics in the Winter, and acts as a resource for the sport within the five boroughs of NYC.
Remembering Doug Maynard – A True Game Grower
Doug Maynard passed away on November 1st of this year at the age of 65. He played lacrosse the whole way through his years on this mortal coil, and scored a goal this past August in Lake Placid, just 3 months before passing on. He had played at Placid since 1991, was active in the New Hampshire lacrosse community for decades, and was a true lover of lacrosse.

Ankeny Hawks Lacrosse Club – Iowa HS Growth
Beginning with the 2014 lacrosse season, Valley will no longer be the only boys’ high school lacrosse program in Central Iowa. Skyhawks Sports in conjunction with the Ankeny school district will sponsor a second club team in the metro’s northern suburb. Like Valley, the team will compete in the Nebraska High School Lacrosse League.
