Israel Premier League teams Ashkelon and Netanya traveled to Ramla to play in an exhibition to Grow The Game and introduce lacrosse to a new audience.
As a professional lacrosse player and coach, I've realized immense benefits from the game of lacrosse, it has opened academic doors, and even enabled me to travel the world, literally. But through my latest adventure running camps in Tokyo, Japan and now Melbourne, Australia, I'm reminded of lacrosse's strongest gift - friendship.
Lee Spitzer is a living legend in the Columbus lacrosse community. From playing at Ohio State, coaching the historic Upper Arlington HS program, officiating youth through the professional level, Mr. Lee Spitzer is well experienced in the sport of lacrosse and is a true example of a Game Grower.

Denver City Lax is a not-for-profit youth lacrosse initiative based out of Denver, Colorado. I don't want to spend too much time telling you what Denver City Lax is all about, because their website does a fantastic job of highlighting the goals and successes of such a wonderful organization. I do want to spend time highlighting one of the founders of the group, Ben Allison, who, with his father, Rod, began the development plans for the mission to grow the game amongst intercity youth in Colorado's largest city, back when Ben was in high school.
France is well-known worldwide for several reasons: the Eiffel Tower, its incredible variety of cheeses, wines, pastries or even bread. Oh, and I almost forgot mentioning unshaved women and an unfaithful President. But one thing that would certainly not come to people’s mind when thinking about the country of romance is Lacrosse.
Welcome to our first Game Grower Spotlight for 2014. Here at Lacrosse All Stars, our mission has been to Grow The Game since day one. Not only is it our passion to Grow The Game, but we recognize it is the goal of countless others across the world. We want to take the time to honor those that make up the backbone of the lacrosse community, starting this week with Richard Roy of Burns, OR.
