Was there a lot of traditional at the World Lacrosse Championships? Yes there was, and I figured there would be at least a bit, but in the end there was WAY MORE TRADITIONAL than I thought there would be.
This post will cover the FIL World Lacrosse Championships as objectively as possible, and talk about as much of the the good, the bad, and the ugly, as is humanly possible.
Lacrosse withdrawal is a serious thing, and if you were out at the 2014 FIL World Lacrosse Championhips in Denver, CO, this Summer, you're probably feeling it pretty hard right now.

Last Monday the Iroquois Nationals were already 2-1 in group play with their only loss so far to Canada. They were driven to secure a much needed win over the Australians to keep momentum heading in to the game with the undefeated United States.
Over the last couple of days, we found our identity. We found out that we can do anything we want if we come together as a team and fight. We grew, we bonded, we are China!
Canada Lacrosse beats a seemingly unbeatable Team USA 8-5 in the World Lacrosse Championship finals and all hell breaks lose. Honestly, I'd expect nothing less!
In a hard-hitting, physical match-up between England and Israel, the England men's national lacrosse team came out victorious in overtime 10-9.
