Lacrosse is the Creator’s Game. There is so much more to it than X’s and O’s, and literally anyone can play. Every player, at some point, gets their own chance to create.
Actor, Tom Welling, does a nice job of explaining it. I have so much chaos in my life, It’s become normal… You have to just relax, calm down, take a deep breath and try to see how you can make things work rather than complain about how they’re wrong.

Good Monday morning! Do not identify yourself with that which you are not.- Rev. Elizabeth Longo
A great leader will not be a leader of followers. He or she will be a leader or leaders. Being selected as a captain last year was one of the most rewarding happenings of my lacrosse career. Many, if not the majority, of my teammates were captains or, at the very least, leaders on their college teams. Many had been on multiple professional rosters. They’d all been around the game at a high level for a while. To me, being…

Should I be annoyed by this?” Although I could empathize, my response was an absolute no….
As I mentioned earlier this week, having a team-first attitude means reminding ourselves that “it’s not about me.” As an athlete, it means putting in a little extra work to aid in the success of your team. As a parent it means sacrificing certain personal conveniences on behalf of your kids. As a teacher or a coach it means going the extra mile to help a young man or young woman reach their full potential. The list goes on. There…
I always close out to my camps and clinics by reminding my campers that somebody else made it possible for them to be there, and that they owe that person(s) a thank you. I’ve found this to be true in all aspects of life though. I once read that every successful person has had at least 7 positive influences in his or her life.
Good Monday evening! It’s more than reasonable that we’re our own first priority day to day and moment to moment – especially those of us that are not married and have no kids. It’s natural.
