Major League Lacrosse's 2013 Championship Weekend looks like it was the last of its kind. Moving forward, higher seeded MLL teams will host playoff games, with a single championship game being played at a predetermined location. We probably won't see semifinals and finals all wrapped up into one big weekend, so this is the LAST Top 10 from MLL Championship Weekend ever.
Kacy Small is back on LAS with another great article. Last time, Kacy talked about the differences between FIL and NCAA lacrosse rules, and now he's back with a fantastic Friday post on his Lacrosse Dream Team, culling athletes from the NBA, NFL, and professional boxing. He makes a strong argument for why his chosen athletes would see success. What do you think... could we get some of these guys to pick up a stick?
Boston Cannons defenseman and Loyola graduate, P.T. Ricci, stops by to share his story, and how he got on the road to Major League Lacrosse.
A little bit of go Connor dropped a blind item about a field goalie trying his hand at box lacrosse. Last Friday, we revealed who the mystery man was, and even showed off a video of him playing against some kids. There are a lot of great moments in that video, including this one captured here.

I was over in New Jersey the other week checking out an American Indoor Lacrosse Association clinic in Ridgewood, and I was lucky enough to stumble upon Drew Adams' first moments as a box lacrosse goalie. We put together a fun video on the behind the scenes action for our MVP members. It's the added perk of being a member!
Major League Lacrosse has announced a new playoff format, and some key dates for next season. For the MLL, it means home playoff games for the top seeds, an extended playoff schedule, and a stand alone championship game. Below, I get into the details of the new moves, and then look at how this could impact players who compete in the MLL and NLL.
Since it was just MLL Championship Weekend, and my favorite team, the Chesapeake Bayhawks, were crowned champs for the second consecutive season and fifth overall (some would call that a dynasty), I'm allowing two tweets for this week's Tweet of the Week. And what do they teach us? No one passes like the Hawks, and heroes are remembered, but old man legends never die.
