News and updates from Lacrosse All Stars HQ.
Just like we promised, Joenanadez is reporting LIVE from the MCLA tournament and LacrosseAllStars is changing the way you follow the games. Tired of having to wander the web aimlessly for the latest content? Don’t feel like the live game blogs give you the real Colorado experience?
We’ve got some great news to share with you today and it all has to do with the man, the myth, the legend: Quint Kessenich. You see, we appreciate Quint. If he wasn’t here for the lacrosse community, who would be? But just as every aspect of life changes, so do the needs of LaxNation. Quint has set a standard, and now Team LAS will help it evolve.
Lets hear what you think. Express Yourself!
“It’s crazy to see people be what society wants them to be. But not me! Ruthless…Is the way to go they know, Others say rhymes that fail to be original.”
We’re always on the lookout for new ideas to make LacrosseAllStars even better.
Another LAS first! We experimented with a “Live Blog” of the PNCLL championship webcast. It was a wild ride as we strapped in for an afternoon of grainy online feeds and deli sandwiches. Jump in the comments and see our take on the action:
“Now, if, like Robin Williams, you thought la crosse was what you found in la church, prepare to be pummeled by the “Angry LAX” fans.” – Ian Sharpe, EA Sports, The Greenlight Blog
BOOM!!! NOW YOU CAN COMMENT WITH YOUR FACE! That’s right, thanks to Disqus we’ve got Facebook Connect up and running now. You now have the option to be real or continue using a nickname – your call. Details & Tutorial after the jump…

…don’t know when he’ll be back again.
Well actually, he’ll be dropping by next month. He’s just taking some time to relax and enjoy the beach right now (he’s in that picture somewhere).
In the meantime, check out all his posts after the jump. I don’t know about you, but for me his articles have been the most thought-provoking words I’ve ever read about lacrosse. If you haven’t read em yet, do yourself a favor and hop to it!
Rhino Lacrosse Teams Up with LacrosseRecruits.com to Increase the Number of College Lacrosse Players Coming From Developing Lacrosse Regions.
Editors note: Don’t forget that StridingMan wandered out the Minnesota to catch some great MCLA games this weekend between Oregon, Minnesota, Minnesota-Duluth, and BYU.Follow Striding Man’s journey & check out the live game updates from everyone in MN.
Even though they were just scrimmages, this weekend featured a great moment for the growth of lacrosse. BYU, a member of the MCLA, played competitively against #17 ranked Denver and came away with a win after defeating Air Force (notes from the event claim that there were no “official stats” being kept for this game but the final score was reported as 7-6).
Earlier this week, we shared our experience from “The Lacrosse Combine” and informed you about LacrosseRecruits.com, a great web service that’s all about getting high school kids to the next level. Today, we’re going to dive a little deeper into LacrosseRecruits.com.
“Back to work, Lax Nation!”
So many big/interesting college lacrosse games are happening this weekend. Finally we get to stop talking and watch some groovy lacrosse action. Here are a few match-ups that have even Broadway Joe (circa 1970) paying attention…

HAPPY NEW YEAR Fellow Laxers! In celebration of ‘08, here’s a GREAT new music video courtesy of Mr. Blue Sky:
Hopefully you feel the same way about 2008 as we do. It was a fun, productive and memorable year. Nothing proves this more than the Presidential Election – What an event! For LacrosseAllStars.com, we feel like we accomplished a lot this year. In just 6 months we’ve upped traffic to the site tenfold, settling in at about 5,000 unique vistors to date – a monumental accomplishment for us.
