Following a statement game by the US Men’s National Lacrosse Team, winning 18-5 over the Iroquois Nationals, I thought we’d take a closer look at the Team USA helmets because they seem to be the talk of the town lately. The kids love matte, that’s for sure.

On Sunday and Monday, we teamed up with ComLax, distributing free LaxAllStars.com stickers and Grow The Game bracelets to players and fans who visited their booth. We also put replica Canada, Australia, Iroquois, and USA helmets on display, offering the chance for people to enter to win International-themed custom Cascade R’s.

It was very interesting to observe the initial reaction from people of all ages as they walked by and saw these elite international domes on display. When young American players walked by, all eyes were immediately on Team USA’s.

As you can see by the evidence above, putting these replica helmets on display and within arm’s grasp led to an inspiring and unforgettable experience for many of these kids. No one was allowed to try the helmets on because “in order to be able to put it on, you have to make the team.”

Meanwhile, a common question was whether or not the face mask was 24K Gold. We could neither confirm nor deny.

Below you will find a closer look at the intricate details of the Team USA helmets from my lens. Hope you enjoy.
